History and Description
Rose & Crown opened with the rest of EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982 [1]. The restaurant was designed to reflect various kinds of English pubs including: Victorian, Dickensian, seaside, and country style [2]. These styles are evident both from the outside facade and from the individual dining rooms [3]. In total, the Rose & Crown consists of three dining rooms and a pub.
Although the Rose & Crown has remained mostly unchanged since it opened, it should be noted that initially guests entered the establishment from the front of the building [3]. In later years however, the entrance was moved to the side of the building (the side with the Dickensian facade)[3].
