PizzeRizzo is a counter service restaurant in the Grand Park area of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

History

The genesis of what would eventually become PIzzeRizzo began in the early 1990s, when Disney Imagineers began developing a new Muppet Studios are for the Disney-MGM Studios. As part of Phase Two of the project, Disney planned on creating "The Great Gonzo's Pandemonium Pizza Parlor", and interactive restaurant run by the Muppets Gonzo and Rizzo the Rat ^[1].

According to the restaurant's backstory, Gozno and Rizzo would have hired the Swedish Chef to run the kitchen. Predictably however, this would have led to trouble. While guests watched their meals being made "live" on overhead television screens, all sorts of vignettes would play out. These ..→
