History

Hollywood & Vine opened in the (then) Disney-MGM Studios on May 1, 1989 ^[1]. Originally the restaurant operated as a "buffeteria" style restaurant, offering guest a quick and affordable place to eat. In 1998 however, the restaurant was refurbished, reopening on November 22, 1998 as Hollywood & Vine Cafeteria of the Stars ^[2]. At this time, the restaurant became a character dining experience featuring Minnie and her friends ^[3].
