History Restaurantosaurus opened with the rest of Disney's Animal Kingdom on April 22, 1998 . When the restaurant originally opened it, along with the rest of DinoLand USA, was sponsored by McDonald's. Menu items at this time included: Dino-Sized Double Cheeseburger, Hot-Dog OSAURUS, Vegetarian Burger, Fruit Punch Gelatin, and Safari Amber (a specialty beer) .
